Data search on bomb-bid pair

The hunt for the would-be suicide bombers who tried to strike London intensified today after police named two of the suspected attackers.

The British Home Office is understood to be trawling its databases for information on Muktar Said Ibrahim, 27, also known as Muktar Mohammed Said, who targeted a number 26 bus in Hackney Road, east London, and 24-year-old Yasin Hassan Omar, who tried to detonate his device on the Tube at Warren Street.
