Armed police enter London hospital, claims report

Unconfirmed reports say police have cordoned off University College Hospital in London and armed police had entered the building.

This was just minutes before someone was carried from an ambulance into the unit on a stretcher.

The hospital is so near Warren Street tube it has been included in the area cordoned off following the incident.

A Scotland Yard spokesman could not confirm the reports.

It follows reports someone had been seen “running away” from Warren Street station in the

wake of the incident there.

One person was hurt in the Warren Street incident.

Police in Warren Street have been seen going down into the Tube station in chemical protective gear.
