Suspect admits throwing grenade during Bush speech
A man arrested after a fatal shoot-out with police in Georgia has admitted throwing a grenade at a rally in May where US President George Bush was making a speech, a Georgian official said on Rustavi-2 television today.
Deputy Health Minister Irakly Giorgobiani said the suspect made the admission in the hospital, where he is being treated for wounds suffered in the shoot-out that erupted when police tried to arrest him late yesterday.
