Trust in Bush weakens

Americans have growing doubts about President George W Bush’s honesty and his effectiveness, according to a poll.

They are uneasy with the war in Iraq, uncertain about the economy and nervous about the terrorist threat – factors which all lead to doubts about the present, analysts said.
