A Russian-made plane believed to have been carrying more than 50 passengers and crew has crashed deep in a forest in Equatorial Guinea, killing all aboard and leaving bodies scattered about the crash site, government officials said in Malabo today.

Government spokesman Alfonso Nsue Mokuy said no one survived after the Antonov 32 with more than 50 people on board ploughed into dense woods 18 miles south of the capital shortly after leaving the city’s airport on Saturday for the southern town of Bata.
