London bomb death toll now at 55
The death toll from last week’s suicide bombings in London rose to 55 today after another victim lost his fight for survival.
Architect Lee Harris, 30, died overnight at the Royal London Hospital in the East End, according to a family friend.
He had been caught up in the Tube train bombing near King’s Cross along with his partner, 36-year-old Samantha Badham, who is also missing feared dead.
The couple had been together for nearly 13 years.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard confirmed that the total number of dead had now reached 55.
