Hoax emails seek donations for London bomb victims

The Australian Red Cross today warned of hoax emails purporting to seek funds for victims of the terror bombings in London last week.

The charity’s chief executive, Robert Tickner, said a small number of people in Australia had contacted the Australian Red Cross saying they had received emails seeking donations on behalf of the British Red Cross.
