Berlin’s city transport authority said it was raising its security level as a precaution after a series of blasts hit buses and the underground system in London.

Berlin’s city transport authority said it was raising its security level as a precaution after a series of blasts hit buses and the underground system in London.

The transport authority said it was raising its security level to “yellow” - the second of three levels. It was stepping up security patrols in the subway and urging bus and tram drivers to be particularly alert to suspicious objects.
