Taliban threatens to kill American commando 'hostage'

A purported Taliban spokesman claimed today that his group was holding a missing US commando and said insurgent leaders had decided to kill him, but offered no proof to back up his claim.

The American military had no comment on the latest claim, saying only that they were making every effort to locate the US Navy Seal.
