Prince Albert of Monaco acknowledges illegitimate son

Prince Albert of Monaco has acknowledged having fathered an illegitimate child with a former Air France flight attendant from Togo, his lawyer said today.

Albert’s lawyer, Thierry Lacoste, said in a statement that Albert wanted to face up to his responsibilities.

He hoped his son could live his life out of the media spotlight.
