US President George Bush today defended the treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay and said they would be given fair trials.

“The prisoners are well-treated in Guantanamo. There’s total transparency. The International Red Cross can inspect anytime, any day,” Bush said during a stop in Copenhagen, Denmark.
