Details of autumn EU summit announced

The British Prime Minister today announced details of an informal EU summit that will take place in the autumn to allow leaders to debate the future direction of Europe.

Speaking in London, Mr Blair said the European Commission would prepare a paper for the talks on "the sustainability of the EU model”.
