A boy fishing in waist-deep water was bitten and critically injured in the second shark attack on a teenager along north-western Florida’s Panhandle in three days.

Craig Hutto, 16, of Lebanon, Tennessee, was taken to Bay Medical Centre in Panama City, where his leg was amputated. He was in a critical condition, but expected to recover, said hospital spokeswoman Christa Hild.
