Suicide bombers kill 36

A string of suicide attacks killed at least 36 people and wounded 19 more in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul today, the US military and police officials said.

The first attack happened at a police headquarters in Mosul, killing 13 policemen and two civilians and wounding six more, said US Army Captain Mark Walter, a spokesman in Mosul. Earlier reports had put the death toll at six.
