Suicide bombers kill at least 10 in Iraq
Two suicide bombers strapped with explosives killed at least 10 people and wounded 19 more in separate attacks on an Iraqi military base and a hospital in northern Iraq today.
The first attack happened at an Iraqi military base in south-west Mosul and targeted civilian employees working there, killing five people, said Dr Baha al-Din al-Bakri of Mosul Jumhouri Teaching Hospital.
The second suicide bomber walked into the teaching hospital, entered a room for police officers guarding the facility and blew himself up, killing five policemen, police Brigadier Generala Wathiq Mohammed Tahr said.
