Comic Cosby 'drugged and assaulted me'
Another woman has come forward to claim that comedian Bill Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her, it emerged today.
The veteran performer is being sued for sexual assault by a woman who has already lined up eleven anonymous alleged victims to testify that they too were attacked in similar circumstances.
The latest to come forward is Beth Ferrier, from Denver, who claims that 21 years ago she had a brief fling with Cosby but met up with him months after it had ended.
âHe said, âHereâs your favourite coffee, something I made, to relax you,ââ she told the Philadelphia Daily News.
Ms Ferrier, 46, said she drank the coffee and passed out.
âI woke up and I was in the back of my car all alone,â she said.
âMy clothes were a mess, my bra was undone, my top was untucked. And Iâm sitting there going, âOh my God. Where am I?â Whatâs going on? I was so out of it. It was just awful.â
She claimed that when she confronted Cosby he told her she had simply had too much to drink.
Andrea Constand, 31, has filed a civil suit claiming Cosby drugged and abused her at his Philadelphia mansion in January 2004.
She alleges five counts of battery, assault, infliction of emotional distress, defamation and invasion of privacy.
Ms Ferrier said that reading the history had encouraged her to come forward.
One other alleged victim has been named - lawyer Tamara Green â who claims she was groped by the star 30 years ago.
Cosby denies assaulting Ms Constand and has vowed to fight the allegations.
