Annan says world must reassure Iraq

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said today that nations must reassure Iraq it has the world’s support as Iraqis worked to rebuild and secure their country.

“You send an important message which I hope is heard loud and clear in Iraq and elsewhere.
