The Dalai Lama began a visit to Germany today to present an award to prominent supporters of the Tibetan people and meet with German politicians.

The Tibetan spiritual leader was to present the Light of Truth award to former Czech President Vaclav Havel and former German minister Otto Graf Lammsdorf.
