Mexican volcano erupts again

Colima’s volatile Volcano of Fire staged a spectacular midnight eruption, scattering its flanks with glowing rock and spewing ash on nearby towns early today. No injuries or damage were reported.

The Jalisco state civil defence agency said an explosion shot glowing material some 2,000ft into the air.
