Mosul mortar attack kills two

Mortar attacks by insurgents in northern Mosul today killed two Iraqis and injured eight others, including seven school children, police and hospital officials said.

All of the attacks happened in eastern Mosul and four of the rounds hit the city’s police academy, but caused no injuries, police Brigadier General Wathiq Mohammed said.
