Suicide car bomb explodes at Iraqi market

A suicide car bomb exploded at a market south of Baghdad today, killing at least 14 people and wounding 43, police said.

The attack happened in Suwayrah, 25 miles south of the capital.

Police said the area is a notorious insurgent stronghold known as Iraq’s Triangle of Death
