Police minibus bomb kills seven in Iraq
A bomb hidden in an Iraqi police minibus exploded as it reached a checkpoint in Saddam Hussein's home town today, killing at least seven policemen and wounding eight.
The casualties were all inside the minibus, said police Lt Col Saad Abdul Hamid, and other security forces manning the joint military-police checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Tikrit city may have been hurt.
