Authorities arrested al-Qaida’s No 3 commander and said today they were “on the right track” to catch bin Laden himself.
A close associate of Osama bin Laden with a €7.6m bounty on his head, Al-Libbi, was arrested on Monday after a fierce gunbattle with Pakistani commandos on the outskirts of Mardan, north-east of Peshawar.
