Afghanistan explosion kills 28

An arms dump exploded in northern Afghanistan today, killing 28 people and injuring more than 70, officials said.

The weapons were stored in a bunker in Bashgah, a village in Baghlan province 75 miles north of Kabul, Interior Ministry spokesman Latfullah Mashal said.
