Blair gets support of UK press

Tony Blair was given a boost tonight in the run-up to Thursday’s election - winning the support of several of the Sunday newspapers.

The News of the World threw its weight behind Labour, insisting in a full-page editorial to be published tomorrow that: “Tony Blair’s team are, on balance, the best to take the country forward.”
