Driver's leg broken in 'road rage' attack
A motorist suffered a broken leg after he was carried along on the bonnet of another driver's car in a "road rage" attack, British police said today.
The victim, a 34-year-old man, also suffered cuts and bruising when he was thrown from a car which was deliberately driven at him, West Midlands Police said.
Officers said the driver had got out of his Rover 620 at the junction of Cotterills Lane and Treaford Lane in Ward End, Birmingham, to check the vehicle for damage after a minor shunt.
A police spokesman said: "The Rover driver, from Birmingham, was driven at by the other vehicle and was then carried along for about 40ft before falling to the ground and being run over by the car."
The investigation is continuing.
