Clinton backs Blair bid for third term

Former US president Bill Clinton today gave strong support for Tony Blair’s bid to win an historic third term in power in Britain.

In a live satellite link from New York, Mr Clinton told a Labour rally in London that Mr Blair was providing the right leadership to tackle world poverty.
