Kidnapped American appears on video

A video of an American, kidnapped in Iraq two days ago, was shown on Al-Jazeera satellite television today.

The tape showed a man sitting behind a wooden desk as three men pointed their guns at him. He was holding what looked like a passport and a photo identification.
