Abbas condemns Gaza shootings

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas condemned the fatal shooting of three Palestinian youths today by Israeli troops, saying the killings violated a truce agreement with Israel.

Abbas’ office issued a statement saying he was “shocked” by the shooting of the youths in the Rafah refugee camp in Gaza. Residents said the teenagers were playing soccer at the time.
