Schiavo dies in Florida

Terri Schiavo has died in Florida.

A spirtiual advisor to the family, Brother Paul O'Donnell, announced the news outside the hospice today.

Schiavo, aged 41, was on her 13th day without food and water.

The brain-damaged woman was only expected to survive one to two weeks after her feeding tube was removed by court order March 18.

Her husband, Michael Schiavo, insisted he was carrying out her wishes by having the tube pulled.
