Rainier remains stable, say doctors

Prince Rainier remained in a stable condition in a Monaco hospital today and is undergoing kidney dialysis and other treatment, his doctors reported.

A brief statement from the palace signed by the doctors said there would not be a new update on the 81-year-old prince’s health for 48 hours, an unusual move after nearly daily reports on his condition.
