A home-made bomb exploded at the main square of a remote town in south-western Pakistan, killing one passer-by and slightly injuring three others, police said today.

The explosion occurred last night in Naushki, a town about 125 miles south-west of Quetta, the capital of south-western Baluchistan province, local police chief Ghulam Yasin said.
