Judge reserves life-or-death decision over brain-damaged wife

A US judge has reserved his decision on the fate of a brain-damaged woman at the centre of an extraordinary political battle.

Federal court judge James Whittemore reserved judgment last night, saying he would not issue an immediate decision on whether Terri Schiavo should have her feeding tube reinserted.
