UK police arrest Madrid bombings suspect

A suspect accused of involvement in the Madrid bombings was detained by Scotland Yard anti-terrorist detectives today.

Moutaz Almallah Dabas, 39, was arrested on an extradition warrant issued by the Spanish authorities.

He was held in Slough and will appear at Bow Street magistrates court in central London on Monday.
