Strong quake rocks tsunami-ravaged Aceh province
A strong earthquake rocked parts of Indonesia’s tsunami-ravaged Aceh province today, but there were no reports of damage or casualties, an official said.
The magnitude-6.1 quake, which was centred under the Indian Ocean around 55 miles west of the provincial capital Banda Aceh, did not trigger a tsunami, the local Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said.
