Italy: Three injured in explosion at church
An explosion rocked a church in north-eastern Italy today, injuring three people, police said.
The cause of the blast was not clear.
Police in the city of Treviso confirmed the blast and the number of injured but said they had no other details.
The ANSA news agency, citing police sources, said authorities were not ruling out that the explosion in Motta di Livenza was set off by an unknown bomber who is believed responsible for a dozen explosions in the area since at least 1994.
