Leno gag beats gagging order

Hours before the Michael Jackson trial judge was expected to rule on whether US television chat show host Jay Leno can tell jokes at the singer’s expense, he found a way to slip in a quip without opening his mouth.

After arriving “late” for last night’s Tonight Show in Los Angeles, Leno stepped out of a black limousine wearing SpongeBob SquarePants pyjamas and accompanied by several bodyguards.
