Three die in lampost crash

Three people died after their car crashed into a lamppost, British police said today.

Two men and a woman, who have yet to be formally identified, were killed when a Vauxhall Cavalier careered off Broxtowe Lane in Broxtowe, Nottingham, at about 1.40am.

A police spokesman said no further details were being released at present.
