Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will not be prosecuted in a campaign financing case but his son is to be indicted, state radio reported today.

Omri Sharon, now an MP, is suspected of setting up a straw company to direct cash to his father’s election campaign. Sharon was later elected premier in 2001 and 2003.
