Rice begins Middle East visit

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice today began a two-day mission to talk to Israeli and Palestinian leaders about the peace process.

Her visit precedes a summit meeting of Israeli and Palestinian leaders, set for Tuesday. On arrival, she said she would push for progress from both sides.
