Revealed: Banal, fugitive life of Auschwitz 'Angel of Death'

An Israeli newspaper today published previously unseen excerpts of post-Second World War letters written by Josef Mengele, the notorious Nazi doctor known as “the Angel of Death”.

Mengele conducted cruel experiments on prisoners at the Auschwitz concentration camp and sent hundreds of thousands to their deaths.
