Jordan court case dropped

A charge against glamour model Jordan who was accused of smashing a photographer’s camera has been dropped, the Crown Prosecution Service in England said today.

Jordan, 26, real name Katie Price, had denied breaking Stephen Lawrence’s camera when she appeared at Brighton magistrates court in September last year.

Today a CPS spokesman said the charge, that Ms Price, of Maresfield, near Uckfield, East Sussex, caused £113.25 damage to the camera during an incident on Brighton seafront in April last year, had been withdrawn due to “lack of evidence”.

The case was due to be heard by magistrates in Brighton on January 31.
