Peace talks may bring ceasefire to Aceh

The Indonesian government and separatist rebels will meet this week to discuss a formal ceasefire in tsunami-ravaged Aceh province, officials said today.

In a separate dispute in Sri Lanka – also riven by decades separatist fighting - Norwegian envoys tried to resolve a row between the government and Tamil Tiger rebels over tsunami aid distribution.
