Yanukovych camp to file Ukraine election appeal

The campaign team of Viktor Yanukovych, the loser of the December 26 presidential vote, was today ready to file an appeal of the election results with the Supreme Court.

The court, along with Ukraine’s election commission, has already rejected an array of appeals from Yanukovych’s team, and the new, massive filing could be the campaign’s last attempt at overturning the election won by pro-Western reformer Viktor Yushchenko.
