British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw admitted today that almost 200 Britons may have been killed as a result of the Indian Ocean disaster.

British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw admitted today that almost 200 Britons may have been killed as a result of the Indian Ocean disaster.

He said that 40 people are confirmed as dead and a further 159 are “highly likely” to be victims of St Stephen's Day’s earthquake and tsunami.

Mr Straw explained that UK police are trying to trace those missing or feared dead, and are working with their relatives.
