Tidal wave kills at least 10 Tanzanians

A tidal wave unleashed by the Indonesian quake killed at least 10 people in Tanzania, 2,800 miles away, police said today.

Others are feared to have died when the boat they were in was capsized by the wave, said Alfred Tibaigana, regional police commander at the east African nation’s main city, Dar es Salaam.
