Aid chiefs load up for world's biggest mercy mission

Aid agencies all over the world prepared today for what the United Nations said would be the biggest relief effort in history, following the Asian earthquake disaster that killed thousands upon thousands.

Bodies washed up on tropical beaches and piled up in hospitals, raising fears of disease across the 10-nation arc of destruction left by the monster earthquake and tidal waves.
