French Foreign Minister Michel Barnier was flying to Sri Lanka and Thailand tonight on a plane carrying humanitarian aid to tidal wave victims.

French Foreign Minister Michel Barnier was flying to Sri Lanka and Thailand tonight on a plane carrying humanitarian aid to tidal wave victims.

Three French nationals were confirmed dead – one in Sri Lanka, another in Thailand and the third in India. Six French were also reported missing, his ministry said.
