Blair arrives in Ramallah for talks

British Prime Minister Tony Blair today met a Palestinian guard of honour at the Muqata'a compound in Ramallah as he arrived for talks about the Palestinian leadership.

Mr Blair walked with Mr Abbas to the glass-walled grave area marking Mr Arafat’s burial place. The two leaders stood in silence for a few seconds and Mr Blair bowed his head.
