Blair in Israel seeking fresh push for peace

British Prime Minister Tony Blair arrived in Israel late today to launch a new push for peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

The Prime Minister is to meet with Israeli and Palestinian leaders tomorrow. He is the highest level official to visit since the November 11 death of Yasser Arafat, reflecting international optimism that with a new Palestinian leadership, peace talks can be restarted.
